Just a little fun with triangles. I had a pile on the sewing table and rather than put them in "the bucket", I just made a few beauty baskets. And yes, I dug some more out of the bucket and made a bigger mess. But, I was a happy girl.

I found these beauty baskets at suzies scraps here. I don't work on them very often. But, I like them, and, anytime I find triangular pieces that I think would work, I throw them in the box with the blocks. Sometimes, I like to take them out and sew a few. It uses odd triangles and 2 1/2 inch squares. More about them here.
I also found snowball blocks at Suzies-scraps.com. I have these in a box near the sewing machine to use up 2 inch squares.

leader and enders

I just wanted to sew a little, so I grabbed the leader/enders near my machine, and made a few. I haven't felt well - it wasn't covid. It has been hard to want to sew.

I found this little beauty at suzies scraps here. I really like her blog for inspiration. I used her ideas for a broken dishes block here. and her tile block here.
I was really excited to find another way to use the quirky "trash" triangles I have in a box. and it is so cute. It is also another great way to use older scraps that are not nearly as modern. Although, all fabric trends repeat over time.
